A new name for our "Cloud OS", icloud |

Today we re-branded our cloud OS into a name more suitable for the service. We have worked many months on securing this new name and we are very happy that we finally have the opportunity to announce and present it for all of you.
As from today, you will see the new name when you log into the OS. Icloud and the cloud logo are present directly on the desktop. Everyone familiar with XIOS/3 has seen the little cloud symbol before. We have also created a new web site for the service, accessible under http://icloud.com. You may log on directly through icloud.com.
XIOS/3 (Xcerion XML Internet Operating System/3) will continue to be the name of the technology, but icloud will be the name of the service. We have also set a new goal, to internally release 20 applications on icloud in 2008 and another 30 applications in 2009, a total of 50 quality applications. If you got suggestions on applications that icloud could not do without, please let us know.
Today we also released a new application, Money Manager, an application for managing your personal finances. Stay tuned to what is happening on icloud the coming months, I can promise you that all of us are working hard to make the service better for every day with more interesting applications to find.
