Application Designer, Write and faster loading Print E-mail
Today we're releasing a couple of new applications.

Application Designer

This is a pretty nice application where you can build other applications. It has a visual user interface designer where you can drag and drop components and visually build interfaces. Makes life a lot simpler for application developers and can speed up development significantly. It also has some other features to help speed up authoring of process files as well. Check out our video that demos this application soon.

Write

This is an application where you can edit rich text documents. It's still a bit limited in functionality, although it has most of the most needed features, and we intend to add a lot more as we go forward.

Invite a friend

You can now invite friends from inside icloud. Look for the new icon on the desktop and make sure to invite all your friends :)

Other things

The most significant thing we've done is to add a so called Content Delivery Network (CDN). The intention with this is to make static resources, such as images, available on servers around the world. This should decrease bootup times for users outside Sweden and Europe a lot.

The basic parts of the OS has also gained a lot of improvements and bug fixes.

Enjoy!

Agree with Max... need to get your Forefox on! Otherwise, this whole IOS seems to be very cool, but I have a long way to go on the learning curve.

Keep going!

Just tried Googles document editor, and it seems I-Clouds Write stands comparison pretty well. They must have made some serious mistake design-wise, because their line wrapping is not working at all. I was happy to see that I-Cloud Write worked just fine!

would look at it, if it worked in Firefox. Oh well, I'll wait until it does, or someone else makes something that works in Firefox...
