What about bandwidth requirement to use XIOS?
|
If applications are built according to Xcerion’s best practice guidelines, they will work on as little as 56kbps modem line. This is possible because: - Applications started on the OS only consists of a few kilobytes of XML
- Data changes, yielding transaction packages between client and data centers consist of XML-fragments that are minimal in size and frequency.
- XIOS applications are executed inside the browser effectively rendering most server roundtrips obsolete
Basically, the bandwidth of a user's Internet connection will only affect the time it takes to boot the Operating System (done only once per user session) and to download applications and content. | |
