Answer
What about bandwidth requirement to use XIOS?

If applications are built according to Xcerion’s best practice guidelines, they will work on as little as 56kbps modem line. This is possible because:

  • Applications started on the OS only consists of a few kilobytes of XML
  • Data changes, yielding transaction packages between client and data centers consist of XML-fragments that are minimal in size and frequency.
  • XIOS applications are executed inside the browser effectively rendering most server roundtrips obsolete

Basically, the bandwidth of a user's Internet connection will only affect the time it takes to boot the Operating System (done only once per user session) and to download applications and content.
